17 Year Old Immigrant Rally Organizer Hopes Community Came Together

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Sunday a Garden City High School student help sparked a pro-immigrant rally at Stevens Park titled “No Hate in My Town”.  Senior Isabel Serafin made a comment during the recent public debate over refugee bans, building walls and keeping the US safe which set everything in motion.

This issue has reached Serafin on a personal level.

Thursday we will examine the aftermath of the rally and whether Serafin believes both sides can bridge the gap on immigration and national security.
