1 injured in Scott County Crash
SCOTT COUNTY, Kan. — One person was injured following a single-vehicle accident in Scott County on Monday afternoon around 1:43 pm.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1996 Mack truck driven by Antonio Rodriguez-Ramirez, 57, Garden City was traveling northbound on US Highway 83 when the vehicle left the roadway to the right, re-entered the roadway, crossed the center-line, and left the roadway to the left. The driver overcorrected back to the right and the vehicle over-turned onto its driver’s side, coming to rest on the southbound shoulder facing in a southeast direction.
Rodriguez-Ramirez was taken to Wesley Medical Center with a suspected serious injury. Rodriguez-Ramirez was wearing his seatbelt according to KHP.
